It is with great excitement that we announce the next chapter in our story!

Pretzel & Bread will be closing our restaurant at 278 Main Road, Walmer and hitting the road with our FOOD TRUCK!

While some may see this as a sad occasion, we would like to reassure all our loyal and valued patrons that we see this as a golden opportunity to bring our freshly baked goods even closer to you by no longer being limited to a static location.

Please also note that our menu will still be available on ordering platforms such as Mr D and Uber Eats.

We would like to sincerely thank every single customer who has supported us at the restaurant over the years; for all the laughs, conversations, and memories shared along the way. It has truly been an honour serving you morning Breakfast Buns and afternoon Leberkässemmel lunches.

And most importantly… please rest assured that our Pretzels have not disappeared…

We are simply going mobile!

Due to the unpredictable weather conditions and the risk of potential flooding, the safety of our staff and customers remains our top priority.

For this reason, we will be closed on 07/05/2026.

We plan to reopen on 08/05/2026, provided that weather conditions improve and roads are safe for travel.

Dear Pretzel & Bread Family,

We’d like to inform you of an unfortunate incident that took place over the weekend. Our bread cutting machine, along with our business cellphone, was stolen from one of our company vehicles. This has been a big setback for our team, and we are currently doing everything we can to recover and replace what was lost as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we regret to let you know that we won’t be able to slice our larger breads the way we normally do. We truly understand how much our customers appreciate this service, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Please also note that our business cellphone number is currently unreachable. We are in the process of restoring our original number. Until then, customers are welcome to contact Alex Ebel directly or reach out to us via our social media platforms for any queries or orders.
