Life is too short to waste time believing people don’t want to show you their best selves. They do.
Believe they do,
and they will.

A note-to-self from our Founder Natasha Fracchiolla

I’ve recently taken up running (more like jogging), and in my hardest moments on my run, I’ve learnt to look for benches. When I can’t move my exhausted body another inch, I look up and I scan ahead for a bench. An actual bench.

I tell myself 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘩. And together with my tired legs, we run just to that bench. And, when we get to that bench, we look up for another bench, and again I say: 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘩.

We raise up our strength, and we move - just to that bench. And guess what, we make it. I’m learning that Motivation responds to ‘benches’ and reactivates itself with each little bench ‘mark’.

The key is to trick Motivation to believe that the journey of life is just a short series of benches, never a finish line. That’s how we make it. For some of us, just getting out of bed every morning, is a bench. And that’s okay. Any bench is good enough to propel you – just one bench at a time.

So when it all gets too much, and the kids are driving you crazy, and you can’t pay the bills, and you can’t see through your tears, and your sick body has let you down, and the fear has come to choke you, and your breath is short, and there are way too many fires, and way too many boxes, and you’re all out of options, and you’re all out of love, and you think you’ve lost your mind, and you’ve definitely lost your faith…

Just to that bench, okay. You can.

For the Lost Soul...

Look at a blade of grass today
Like maybe it is magic
Like maybe it holds the fragility of your entire universe
Like maybe it won’t let you down
Like possibly it knows the delicacy of your splintered heart
Like it can feel you, hold you, call you by your name...
Like it loves you. Maybe.

It’s not just about sending emails or holding meetings; it’s about understanding the subtle textures of tone, the unspoken expectations behind every task assignment, and the art of listening - really listening - to what is being said between the lines.

Effective communication - the kind that truly binds a team's spirit and drives its projects, remains elusive.

So how can Room 206 help?

Our communication workshops are crafted not just to fill a training quota or team-building activity, but to address these core challenges of modern workplaces. We offer more than tools; we provide transformations - experiences that change how individuals and teams think about and engage in communication every day.

Women’s Month Shelf Stopper!!

Mystery, love, heartbreaking sensuality, rivers, hills, running, sobbing, saving, praying; a pastor and a witch; a series of letters; a land of mystery and mountains; a protagonist so raggedly twisted and shamed, you’ll want to do nothing for the rest of the year but lace your boots and fight in her honour. This, is The Highland Witch – and it will get you.

Written in honour of brave women everywhere, this story will stir you in places you locked long ago and uncover parts of your feminine favour that you will desperately want to reclaim. This book is something else. A compelling story set in the 1600’s, based on the tumultuous legend of Corrag - the condemned highland witch. This is a novel written with such artistic and skilful delicacy, every true writer in its throes will be crestfallen by the utter (utter!) joy of its rhythm and flow. You ARE going to fall in love with this book. Or with this witch. Or with Scotland. Or with something. Either way, prepare to fall. And if you are already a fan of the Scottish Highlands…then this novel will capture you from page one, flinging you into every whispering corner of a land you love. If you know nothing of the highlands, or of Corrag, well then friend, we beckon you forward…to risk everything on 360 pages that will leave you wanting to know more. Wanting to know something. Everything. Anything.

A big shout of love to our fellow writer and a brave, beautiful woman Sarah Cohen who unsparingly recommended this book to us once upon a time – you know how to pick the gems, girl! Thank you!!

We know the worth of words when it comes to communication strategies. Having the write tools in your camp will be the difference between influencing your audience, or losing them.
