Created from only the best locally-sourced ingredients, our mouth-watering fillings and gravies are made and wrapped in our unique and delicious shortcrust pastry, ensuring the highest standards, best quality and of course the most delicious taste. After researching most of the pies on offer to consumers in South Africa, we set out with the sole intention of preparing and creating extraordinarily
tasty, additive-free, handmade pies – using only the finest, freshest, natural ingredients and putting in all the love and attention that you would if you were to cook them yourself. Our sumptuous selection of pies in 2 different sizes: from cocktail - 110g to standard - 330g (which is rather large) are all hand crafted from scratch in our very own purpose built bakery. Our passionate team spend hours chopping, slicing, tasting and tweaking their way to perfection – from preparing and roasting the whole spices, creating curry paste’s, marrying flavours and gently roasting at a low heat for a length of time to ensure the flavours infuse, and the meat is succulent and tender. We are also extremely conscious of our carbon footprint, and are constantly on the lookout for more ways to protect the environment by ensuring farmers adhere to strictly healthy and humane practices in raising animals – limiting excessive/unnecessary use of antibiotics, providing adequate space and outdoor access and allowing the animals to express their natural behaviour.
