always like to use that term, i simply love to create sweets. I graduated from South African Chef's Academy. I have been lucky enough to work with some of the most amazing people/ colleagues that has made me the "sweetie maker" that i am today. I have worked in 5* star hotels and recently in an award winning chef's new restaurant in Franschhoek. Please join me in my new and exciting adventure ♡

Ellooo ♡
I have neglected this page for quite some time, so apologies if I have missed any messages in the past.
First of all let me start off by saying WoW! My little page has grown to over 400 likes. Thank you :D ♡

I ♡ Cake was something I never really planned. Sometimes things just don't work out... and that's ok :D
I would still love to carry on with it but only take on a few orders at a time.
Over the past few months I have strayed away from the plastic fondant covered cakes. It's not something I favour, for plenty of reasons. One being, it is hardly ever eaten... So why use it then?
Instead, I have fallen in love with simple, beautifully iced cakes, adorned with fresh flowers, sweeties, figurines or hand made sugar flowers. Simple has always been a favourite of mine :)

Berry season, Christmas season, floral dresses, flower crowns, Christmas hats....

This page will be quiet for bit, i do apologise. Working on a few other things at the moment an normal weekly sweety orders.

Just an update ;)
Unfortunately I will not be doing any more markets. Maybe monthly weekend markets in the future. I have met so many people on my market journey. It has been a wonderful experience ♡
I will however be taking part in the FAB Bridal Expo next year March. Now I know it is still very far away but it will be my first expo *beyond excited* Lots of planning will be going into it to make it spectacular :D

Otherwise normal baking/ ordering will proceed... lots of 'just for the fun of it baking' to happen. Have missed experimenting. Found so much inspo on instagram, Katherine_sabbath, cococakeland, velvetdelight... yay ♡

Finally decided it's time to make macarons again. First time in my home oven. Nothing better than a pretty pink macaron ♡
It's about time i put them on the menu :D wedding favours, birthdays, baby showers ♡

Have loads of egg cartons so decided it would make for cute packaging.

Off to buy some more ingredients, bits and bobs then it's time to start on those orders. Nougat, toffees, tinkerbell, markets... Yay :)

Today's market at City Bowl Market on Hope from 16:30 to 9pm.
• lemon + poppyseed, cream cheese frosting raspberry
• Coconut, white choc + passion
• vanilla blueberry + honey marshmallow
• GLUTEN FREE chocolate caramel + dark choc ganache
• Chocolate brownie caramel cheesecake
• turkish apricot + cranberry white choc nougat

I am also selling coconut oil for the lovely Ms Coconut Connection. Organic and good for all sorts of stuff.

Come and have a cupcake then go straight back to banting by buying a tub oil :p it all just works out perfectly :D
