I had a wonderful birthday week being spoilt by my beloved friends and family, and I am grateful for each of you and your role in my life. and I spent the day out and about in wintery Athens yesterday. Athens, like the Athenians, is ready for the Christmas season. Even the weather cooperated, with temperatures dropping significantly this weekend. Our adventures finished with a stop at for a lovely lunch and a post-birthday beverage. I've always like a Negroni, but now I've had a Strawbwrry Negroni, and oh, how delicious! is unquestionably worth a shot. Their appetisers are excellent, and their pizzas appear to be delicious.

Their kitchen is open till late, and then it's cocktail hour and party time. We'll be going back during this holiday season. 🥂🧿🥂

I love Sundays spent outdoors walking around in the City, I call home. Today I joined the many tourists watching the change of the guards outside the Greek Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square. The Evzones (Zoliathes) looked so beautiful in their blue top and white skirt, which they wear on Public Holidays and weekends. 😍
