Not quite cake but still creative and super indulgent. My boyfriend does not love cake 😲 gasp! So this year for his birthday I recreated one of his fav ice creams. It's not available in SA sof I had to guess a little on exactly flavour but feedback is it is pretty close to the real thing. Hand churned chocolate icecream with marshmallow swirl, caramel sauce and fudge bits in a giant tub made from white chocolate.

Well the final 3 months of the year are upon us and before we blink it will be Christmas, so Christmas cake and mince pie orders are now officially open. Depending on demand they will be open until about mid-November; all our cakes are made with lots of cherries and brandy and are nurtured lovingly to maturity over some weeks so order early to make sure you don't miss out. Comment on the post if you would like me to email you our price list.

Please note that due to the increase in the cost of all my supplies my prices will be increasing from the 15th of October. Any quotes that have already been made will be honoured but new quotes will be according to the new prices. Such an exciting week. Thursday I will be teaching the Advanced Cake Decorating Class at the Centre for Culinary Excellence at the South African Chef's Association and.... Tamara Le-Pine Williams from Classic FM will be there chatting to me and the students for her radio show.
