Custom Orders
Customised orders require a minimum one-week lead time. Due to the time-consuming nature of customised orders, we plan our production schedule a week in advance and spots book up fast. In order to avoid disappointment, we the
refore suggest placing and confirming your customised order well in advance. Last Minute Order Surcharge
We will always try to accommodate last minute orders whenever we can. However, last minute orders place tremendous pressure on our team, often necessitating overtime. If we are able to assist with a last-minute customised order, please note that we reserve the right to charge a surcharge in order to ensure that our production team is compensated for their time. PAYMENT CONFIRMS ORDER
Full payment is needed to confirm online, telephone and invoiced orders and until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment on the production cut-off date and we therefore strongly recommend payment is made in advance of this date. Routes are planned according to demand deliveries are made by hand between 9:00 and 17:00 on the date specified in your order. All deliveries are undertaken by me. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order; if there is no-one on hand to receive the order we will do our very best to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour, receptionist, caretaker etc.) but we cannot keep hold of the order for re-delivery and it will be left at the address you have given us, alternatively we will return for collection. You can select the option to collect or arrange your own delivery but once cakes have left our address, we cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs in transit. CANCELLATION POLICY
Online Orders
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether, please contact us as far in advance as possible. Custom Orders
Customers who have booked and received an invoice from Roy’s Royal Delights for a custom cake are entitled to a full refund on the order total for cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the order date and a 40% refund for orders cancelled within 7-14 days of the order date. Orders cancelled within 7 days of delivery/collection will not be entitled to a refund (although credit notes may still be given at Royston discretion). CAKE CARE
Once you have collected your cake please inspect it to ensure it is the correct product and particularly for custom orders, that the brief has been met. The cake is to be transported on a flat surface under air-conditioning as icing can melt as well as the décor on the cake. Please ensure your cake is refrigerated to avoid melting and collapsing. VERY Carefully! Your cake will be given to you in a box and can be transported as is. Please note that when driving with your cake it must be placed flat in the boot (trunk) of your car, and on warm days, it is important to make sure that the car is as cool as possible. Do not take sharp corners or brake suddenly!!! Please DO NOT keep your cake on a back seat that is slanted, or on someone’s lap unless they are willing to sit with their legs at a relatively uncomfortable 90-degree angle throughout the journey. TRADING HOURS
Our trading hours are: We operate normal business hours. Please note the following that should a order be for a Saturday it will need to be collected before 17h00 the Friday. No orders will be collected after Sunset on a Friday or during the day on a Saturday. NB!!! We Are not trading on Saturdays (Collections and placing of orders will not be done from Friday 17H00 till Saturday sunset). Please adhere to the above to avoid being disappointed
