Kagiso just collected his Mixed Berries Cream Cake for his 49th birthday today, and he said he remembered 9 years ago collecting his 40th cake from me! He and I agreed that next year we must do something a bit more ambitious.

I can be forgiven for believing this cake was for a 3 year-old animal lover with a sweet tooth - the brief was wild animals with party hats, balloons, flowers, bright colours, festive, lots of sweets - but no, it was for grown-up Jess! Her sister knows what she likes. I hope you didn't eat it all at once ...
