A power outage put paid to mixing more icing for the detail on Mahlatse's first order, so plan B was to use fondant instead for the flowers. She liked it, and ordered something similar for the next one. 😊

Elija's F1 first birthday was celebrated in style at the Beans & Stikkies Adventure Park, his parents organised an epic wing-ding; the cake and I were both invited. It was so much fun for everyone.

Mother Hubbard is on the move, folks! After 41 years in Parkwood we're scaling down here and re-locating to Northwold at the end of this month. Thank you to all my wonderful customers and followers, please come along with me, I'm hoping to scale up further north in time for warmer weather.

I'm looking for a really good customer of mine since 2024, she has ordered enough cream cakes to sink the proverbial battleship, and seems to have fallen overboard. Her name is Noxy / Noxolo Dhlamini / Dlamini, and I believe one of my followers recommended me to her. Any ideas?

Viking Rowing Club celebrated 75 years at a wingding last night, and my cake proudly took centre spot on their excellent display. Congratulations Vikings!
