Pastry Angel BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. A small bespoke bakery and baking school in the Northern Suburbs of Gauteng. Run by internationally qualified Pastry Chef, Candice.

Pastry Angel is a home based bakery in Northgate. We supply custom cakes and cupcakes, pastries, party packs and supply catering for events in the Gauteng area. We are not a shop, so visiting is by appointment only.

Traditional wedding cake from a few weeks ago. Flavours from the base tier up were chocolate mud sponge, dark chocolate ganache and raspberry. Bakery style carrot cake filled with cream cheese icing. Vanilla classic. The wedding colours were purple and gold.

Khodani recently celebrated her 40th at Kloofzicht Lodge with family and friends. I made the cake and these delicious little cake cups as gifts. Cake flavour was pistachio, raspberry, mascarpone and rose. Her brother doesn’t like cake but… he packed an extra piece! Best feedback ever! Happy fortieth Khodani! Not the first iteration of this design but still worth posting! Chocolate mud sponge cake filled with Bar One ganache and milk chocolate mousse. Classic chocolate buttercream. Milk chocolate drip.
