9:00 ~ Gates open - come through and get yourself a cup of delicious coffee with Mobile Coffee Café - For Any Occasion and Wholesome Inc.
10:00 ~ kiddies entertainment , Easter egg hunt, face painting with Phoenix Fire Body Art
10:30 ~ Cherry hill will be entertaining us with their soothing songs. and snacks with Raw Wizard and Qwirky Nuts
11:30 ~ advice and talk on permaculture with Matt Purkis.
12:30 ~ lunch with Oh Poppyseed, The Flip Side Cafe
13:30 ~ time to just relax enjoy the vibe, have fun and connect with us. Anita Powell from voice of America will be filming the market and doing an article on the event.

Breaks my heart to read this! All the more reason to go vegetarian, better that go vegan.

Confessions of a slaughterhouse worker in a "humane slaughter" facility:
"I remember one cow somehow escaped the chute and slipped on the blood of the others that had come before. This cow was one of the many who survived the bolt in the head and was somewhat stunned. The steel cable was wrapped around her back leg and she was being hoisted up so her neck would be exposed for her turn at death. Before being hoisted, she aborted her calf and the sound that came out of her was something I'd never heard before or since. Her neck was slit and as the blood was draining from her the last thing she saw was her baby on the floor. Being a "man" I dared not say anything or get emotional. A schoolmate picked up the aborted calf and held it like a football then proceeded to pet it like it was his pet. How the Kill Floor team laughed."
