Thaba Trails A hidden gem in Jozi offering trails to ride, run, walk, hike or ramble along. Come play🦓 Illy coffee served during office hours. Our family welcomes YOURS!

Yellow: Non technical; for beginners and the "not so fit" - 10km
Orange: Some technical; for intermediate riders - 15km
Green: Technical; for more advanced riders - 20km
Red: Very technical; for experienced riders - 35km


At the moment we have the following routes
Hiking:
5km of Yellow boards with blue arrows.
13km of Orange
22km of Green with some Blue challenges looping off and then coming bac

k to the Green making a total of up to 40km

A lot more to come! Kiosk open on weekends - trails open from 06h00 to 17h00

NO HELMET NO RIDE
PLEASE DO NOT LITTER AS IT CAN HARM THE ANIMALS

DO NOT DAMAGE THE FAUNA AND FLORA
NO SMOKING ON THE TRAILS, OUR GRASS IS PRECIOUS
OBEY THE RANGERS AT ALL TIMES

Ride entry/ return procedure:
1) on arrival at the gate you will be directed to the parking on the left.
2) after parking proceed to the Cycle Hub / Thaba Trails shop. Give your details, receive your wristband and pay for your ride.
3) proceed through the doors and the Trails start on the right.
4) Check in on Facebook.
5) If you enjoyed your ride tell others if NOT tell us so we can improve!
6) have a safe journey home and thank you for riding with us

TOILETS AND SHOWERS ON SITE.....Ask for keys at the reception if they are locked. Delicious bacon and egg rolls served on the weekends. Book before you head out to avoid disappointment as the disappear like hot cakes (or pancakes...)

This means that our regular trails are closed but events like this keep them open for all of us for the rest of the year! Your understanding is much appreciated and you are welcome to come support some very exciting racing! We are proud to be hosting such an elite event.

GREAT weather predicted for WildJoburg 2025 on Saturday!
Online entries are CLOSED but Race Day Entries will be available at Registration (Friday and Saturday) at a R50 late entry surcharge per entry.

EARLY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AT THABA-ECO VILLAGE TOMORROW FROM 11H00-17H00
with the added bonus of being able to visit the Balwin Properties Show Apartment and qualify to win one of a couple of awesome pairs of Saguaro Trail Shoes!
To register tomorrow please bring your WildJoburg Trail Run proof of entry (confirmation email) to get through security easily.

Registration will be at the race venue Thaba Trails on Saturday morning from 06h00. We expect it to be busy so give yourself ample time.

The 20km route will have two water tables, the 10km will have one, and the 5km will have none. It will be hot later, so if you're a thirsty runner remember to be prepared and carry some of your own hydration!
