Sally Williams Nougat Cake

INGREDIENTS
2 Cups of Cake Flour
1 Tsp of Baking Powder
Pinch of salt
¾ Cup of Shortening
1½ Cups of Sugar
1½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Cup of Milk
5 Egg whites
4 x Sally Williams Chocolate Coated Bars

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line 1 8-inch baking pan
Sift cake flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla until white and fluffy
Add flour mixture and milk to the creamed sugar mixture, alternatingly
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into flour mixture then fold in chopped Sally Williams chocolate coated bars
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes
Let cake cool, remove from pan and enjoy
