The “NOT SO SWEET” news!
Sugar Studio Cape Town is swapping out the beautiful Ocean & Table Mountain for a savanna-thornveld province with regular thunderstorms and humidity 👀
Due to hubby getting a Once In a Lifetime opportunity in Hartbeespoort, North West, we had to relocate from the 1st of Jan 2021, on SUPER short notice! Moving & living in another province, other than the one I grew up in, is probably the hardest thing I have ever done –not a piece of cake at all!
Relocating my established business in a new province is obviously a huge step and very daunting. I intend to get back to work as soon as possible, but I have a feeling the first few months of 2021 will be tricky! Things are going to be crazy & it will take time and effort to figure out where to source ingredients, tools, boxes etc. from, and to build a new client base. Not every day is going to be rainbow, unicorns and warm buttery scented cakes, but I am up for the challenge - even the dreaded thunderstorms 😟😟😟
I’m extremely grateful for all of the support and orders I’ve received from my Cape Town clients the past few years building my brand. Luckily for social media, you will still be able to follow my journey rebuilding my brand in North West 🍰🖤
To all my beloved Cape Town Cakers (you know who you are), THANK YOU for all your moral support during Covid-19 and inspiring me to better myself and think out of the box!
