I've always enjoyed being creative and making things with my hands. After obtaining my B.Ed. Degree Cum Laude in 2012 I started teaching at a primary school in the Northern Suburbs. Two years into teaching I realized that I had a huge passion for baking and cake decorating. Once I attended my first sugar art class in 2014 at Chef Rozanne Henning, I was hooked. I decided to quit teaching and get fo

rmal training at La Petite Patisserie Academy. I graduated top of my class and obtained a certificate in Master Cake Decorating, Patisserie Studies and Advanced Cake Decorating. I've also attended classes at Grace Stevens, the owner of Cupcakes by Design and author of several cake decorating books.
