I would really like to take a moment to say something about this client (and others!) 💙

Bronwyn has been supporting my bakery for 3 years in a row now…she has seen me from when I just started back after leaving ships and my business was still in the beginning phase, into last year where things where getting a bit more into it and my icing skills were getting a bit better…to this year, where my business brand is right where I want it to be! 💙

She’s not the only one either. Annica from a few cakes ago is also a continued supporter over the years! 💙
Claire moved to George and had me ship over a cake kit for her baby to have my cake again this year 💙
I’m sure there are more I can mention! 🤩

It’s thanks to that level of loyalty that I can be where I am, doing these cakes that makes pups so happy! It shows me that my product and my brand is worth supporting and I can be proud of them! 💙

So thank you, ladies! I appreciate you and your love for your furbabies! 🥰🌻

A visit back to the Grabouw trails today with Yoyo and Lacey who came to visit for the day! 🥰🥰

Followed by an outing to Elgin market and then home….all of us were super lazy after this outing!

We have so many new followers so I thought it would be good to do a post to introduce us and our story for the new faces! 💙🐾

I’m Liz and this gorgeous extension of my left arm is Jax! 🤩

During Covid, I was stuck at home; jobless and grieving my dad. I decided I needed a distraction so I fostered two 7 week old puppies through HART.

Picking them up at the vet, I let the lady decide which pup to give me - as long as it was a black one! I have always had a thing for the black pups! 🤩

One month later, I decided to adopt this pup that had been handed to me. He saved me in my grief and gave me so much purpose! He was meant for me completely and utterly 💙

I went back to ships and did two contracts, while Jax went to Dogs Day Out. He loved his daycare time but I couldn’t stand being away from him. So I quit and flew home a month before my 2nd contract away from him ended.

Best decision of my life! 🥰

Our bakery became our main focus, with our dog cakes becoming super popular! I expanded to glassware and a few other merchandise items!

Last year, it evolved even more into our own little intimate daycare and boarding service! 💙🤩🐾

I am so grateful, to be able to be home with my soul companion and to be able to make a living doing what I absolutely love!

Thank you always, to everyone who makes it possible every day and every week! 🥹🙏🏽

Jax is 5 years old now and I will have many more years with him…but quitting my job will always be my biggest and best life choice to ensure I get to spend almost every minute of every day with him! It was scary but it paid off so well! 🤩🐾

We hope we will either see you for dog cakes, dog treats or boarding your furbabies while you are away! 💙

Once a beach bum, always a beach bum! 🥰

His foster sister went on to find her furever home shortly after this picture, while he had already found his with us 🙏🏽💙

I was a new dog mom and had no idea that they should not be out in public as they hadn’t had all their shots…I was so excited to share the beach with them and those trips made their day! I have since learned a lot and Jax has luckily always been a super healthy boy!

I’ll never forget Jax being this small and running up to a Great Dane on the beach…my heart nearly failed. Jax was so innocent and fearless! Luckily Great Danes are also super chilled dogs! 😅🥰

He still lives for the beach, crying and shaking uncontrollably when we drive into the parking lot. We are so grateful to live in such a beautiful place! 🙏🏽🥰

We can’t wait for the weather to make a turn so that we can do even more beach outings! 😬🐾
