Pop's Cakes Cake decorating school Pop’s Cakes is a small part time and home based business owned and managed by Bianca Claasens.

The business developed when she started by baking birthday cakes for less fortunate children. Her mother is a biggest inspiration as she encouraged her daughter to practice her talent and reassured her that her work is worth selling. Family members and locals started placing orders for these birthday cakes and Bianca’s passion to satisfy customers developed. Soon Bianca realised that her passion l

ies in making gumpaste figurines and especially sugar flowers. She taught herself and continues to teach herself to improve her skills and to keep up with the latest trends. The more brides she gets as customers the sooner she wants to close the book on making birthday and novelty cakes and put all her focus on only making bridal shower cakes and wedding cakes as the classiness of a wedding is what draws her attention. Paying attention to detail and neatness is what she is good at, and not to mention the freshness and amazing cake flavours she has to offer. All of Pop’s Cakes’ cakes are made to order and baked from scratch using only the finest and locally sourced ingredients. Bianca offers a personal and highly professional service from the initial consultation right through to the delivery and set up of your cake. She strives for perfection in each cake or cupcake she makes, everyday learning something new to expand her business.
