Ciabattini and La Patisserie Artisan Bakeries are both the brainchild of Antoine and Claire Salnelle, a French chef and pastry chef, and his wife whose passion to bake artisan breads and pastries using traditional methods, made their products well-known and loved in George and its surrounding areas. They have relocated back to France and we now have the priviledge to continue to supply the Garden Route with authentically artisanal breads and pastries. Our bakery outlet is situated in George and we also supply a few Coffee Shops, Restaurants and Supermarkets in this beautiful area with our products.
The ingredients used in all our products are sourced locally where possible and we only use stoneground, GMO free, unbleached flour. No preservatives, enhancers or harmful additives are used so you can be sure when you indulge in our baked goods you are getting a wholesome product! We are fully convinced that NO compromise should be made on any ingredient!
