I think I'm going to make Katelyn's 50th birthday cake one day (if I'm still alive) 😂

I love making cakes for every one of the special people that allow me to be part of their celebrations. But there are some people that just become a part of the threads of your story - and Katelyn and her beautiful family are those people. 😍

I've been lucky to be welcomed back to their celebration tables time and again and am grateful to be part of their special events every time. 🫶🫶🫶

Loved making this adorable cake for a baby shower! 😍

But can you believe the client that ordered this cake asked me to CUT it and pack it in slices for them before they collected it? 😱🫣😭

I politely declined because then the whole theme and decor element would be decimated and wouldn't add any value to their table setting or event decor - and their guests and mommy-to-be would have missed out on all this cuteness!

And then they would undoubtedly do whatever needed to be done (don't ask questions!) to solve the problem...

It was only my pleasure to help out the talented artist behind Artifex Creative Photography, Chrissy, when her Minion-themed decor for this shoot didn't arrive in time. She needed something to set the tone and bring the set together. In a very big rush.

So, we made a minion. Overnight. (We sleep when we're dead!)

No problem.
