Vrydag het loadshedding my bietjie gevang en ek het die half-versierde koek net so in die kar gepak😅

I loved finishing this cake in the beautiful Couplespod kitchen Riverstone House Portfolio with the most amazing view and a glass of wine😉

Hey, I'm back! I know January has already been 3 months long, but who's counting anyway 😉

I hope you had a blessed Festive Season, and may 2023 be your best year ever!!

A year ago, I would never have imagined that I will quit my job and start my own Home Bakery in the coming year. I am extremely thankful for God's grace and blessings in my life and I have great expectations for this year 👏

I'm back in the kitchen in full swing, well rested and ready for the new year!!

I am working on new flavours, creative cake decorating, and will also be launching my website in 2023 (yup, holding myself accountable here)!

Thank you for all your amazing support this far, I cannot wait to bake amazing cakes for you this year!

A moist buttermilk vanilla cake, drizzled with freshly brewed espresso. Frosted with a coffee-flavoured cream cheese frosting, and dusted with some cocoa powder. Finished off with a delicious chocolate crumble👌

Yes, I am a coffee-lover and yes, I am shamelessly biased🤣
BUT, the feedback from non-coffee drinkers, kids, and non-tiramisu lovers/sceptics had even me surprised🤫

Before I started B&B, I have made this cake to only a handful of very special people in my life. Since then, people have NOT stopped asking for it! It is just simply delicious with 7 delicate cake layers, filled with a creamy milktart filling. Believe me, you will never look at a humble milktart the same way again.
