🍫🍦 THE STORY BEHIND OUR HOT CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE 🤎

Our Chocolate Lava Cake isn't just another dessert on our menu. It’s part of The Cookie Grind story.
The Lava Cake was actually one of the early products we started selling. Back then, we kept it simple — a warm, chocolatey mini chocolate muffin shaped cakes served with our chocolate sauce.
But then one late night, completely by accident, everything changed. 😂🤎
One of my siblings (Bibi Aaisha) was up studying and, as every late-night study session needs something sweet, she heated up one of our Chocolate Lava Cakes, poured over some chocolate sauce and added ice cream on top. 🍫🍦
My mum saw what she was eating and said:
“If you enjoy it like that, why don't you serve it like that?”
And just like that… our signature Hot Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream was born. 🥹🍫
There was no big product-development meeting. No complicated recipe planning. It was simply a late-night study snack that tasted WAY too good not to share. 😂
Today, you can still enjoy our Lava Cake the original way with our delicious chocolate sauce, or have it The Cookie Grind way — heated until warm and gooey, covered with our special homemade chocolate sauce and finished with cold, creamy soft-serve ice cream. 🔥🍫🍦
That combination of hot, gooey chocolate + cold, creamy ice cream became one of the desserts we're most proud of.
Sometimes the best things aren't planned…
they just happen. 🤎
