Our Feature Friday this week is the trader that makes us all salivate when we walk past her beautifully decorated biscuits. Rasheree of Homebakes and Treats has been with our market for the last 3 years and this is her journey:
“Homebakes and Treats began its journey at SFM in March 2022, starting out as a casual venture with iced cookies as the main attraction. Long before it became a business, I spent years baking for friends and family, simply enjoying the process and the creativity it allowed. What truly inspired me to take the next step was witnessing the joy my cookies bought to others, the way people’s faces lit up when they saw the designs, made me realize this passion of mine had the potential to become something more.
In 2023, I proudly became a permanent stallholder at the market, marking a special milestone in my journey. Since then, I’ve embraced every opportunity to grow, improve my craft, and explore new ideas. Each cookie I create feels like a miniature piece of art, and I love knowing that these treats bring delight to customers of all ages. Homebakes and Treats continues to evolve, but at its heart remains the same simple purpose: to spread happiness, one cookie at a time.
