Simple Homemade Cookies 🍪
Ingredients
4 cups cake flour (250ml)
200 ml butter, at room temperature
3 medium eggs
200 ml white sugar
5 ml bicarbonate of soda
5 ml cream of tartar
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, cream the butter, then add the eggs and sugar. Mix well until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients (flour, bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar).
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
⚠️ Do not overmix — mix just until combined.
Mould or shape the dough into your preferred cookie shapes.
Place on a greased or lined baking tray.
Bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Remove, cool, and enjoy! 😋
