Good day lovely people! Michelle's Cape Town Cakery is now open to satisfy all your baked cheese cake cravings!

Only the highest quality ingredients are used so that we can ensure your satisfaction.
We also bake Banting/Paleo/Low Carb alternatives for most combination baked cheese cakes for R150 extra.

Here is a list of combo cheese cakes available so far:

1)"Cape Classic” Cheese cake: a lemon baked cheese cake with a sour cream, lemon zest and sugar baked topping): 18cm- R550 (8-10 slices)/ 24cm-R650( 14-16 slices)

2)Lemon meringue cheese cake is a baked cheese cake with lemon zest and a home made lemon curd topping with a luscious meringue: R600 (medium)-R700(large)

3)Very Berry cheese cake is a baked cheese cake with orange zest and a dense mixed berry layer on top : R600 (medium)- R700(large)

4) Bar one cheese cake with bar one layer on top: R600 (medium)-R700(large)

5) Toasted and caramelized Macadamia and salted caramel: R600 (medium)- R700(large)
6) Rosewater, Pistachio, honey nougat and white chocolate ganache cheese cake: R650 (medium)- R750(large)
7) Chocolate mousse with chocolate ganache layer cheese cake: R650 (medium)- R750(large)

Apple/ Cherry crumble baked cheese cake- with cinnamon in the sauce and orange zest in the crumble: R600(medium)- R700(large)

9) Milk tart Baked cheese cake- Flavoured with homemade milk tart liquor, orange peel and spices: R650(medium)- R750(large)

10) Black Forest baked cheese cake- Lindt dark chocolate and black cherries baked into the batter, Lindt dark chocolate and dark cacao butter crust. Smothered in a dense cherry brandy sauce and topped with fresh cream, Lindt dark chocolate shavings and black cherries

Yesterday while helping our dearest mom settling in at home after her hospital stay, we had tea and noticed the biscuit tin's contents were quite low.I wanted to make something nice to sweeten up her recuperation time and decided to bake a batch of biccis- but since I am a bit out of pocket and we have not really stocked up on grocery staples during the kitchen renovation, I do not even have basics like flour at hand. Luckily I remembered the left over frozen cocoa- coconut dough I made for a low carb and sugar free baked cheese cake order and made some biccis out of it. Unfortunately coconut flour bakes so fast, so I burned the batch a bit.
It is then that I spotted the hazelnut chocolate spread and decided to firm it up with milk powder - and voila- a delicious spread that turned ordinary biscuits into the most delicious home made Romany creams- and the burnt taste is totally gone!
Officially the first creation out of our brand new kitchen so I had to take a picture of this decadent deliciousness!
