F and S Supermarket CC was incorporated in 1993 with a small in-store bakery then trading under name and style of Beverley Supermarket. Golden Crust Bakery started trading under F and S cc in 1997. We are the first wholly black owned independent plant-bakery in the Western Cape. Golden Crust is a community bakery that empowers people from the area by training them up as business people to do our d

istribution by way of assisting them with finance for vehicles, setting up routes for them as well as other administrative functions. We have grown over the years and now employ about 100 people from the previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Our customer base has grown from supplying small spaza-shops, individual agents, the prisons, to Corporates like Spar Head office and now also Wall-mart Stores trading as Game. At Golden Crust we continue to strive to train up our staff. We are sending one of our employees to the Anchor Yeast course in Johannesburg for him to be trained up as a baker in July 2014.
