Whimsical Cakery is a passionate, busy and growing bakery dedicated to delivering high-quality, delicious baked goods. We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Cookie Baker to join our team and help us create treats that keep our customers coming back for more.

Job Description & Duties:
Daily Production - Prepare and bake a wide variety of cookies, biscuits, and confectionery goods independently. Opportunities for creativity and skill development.

Recipe Compliance:
Follow established recipes precisely to ensure consistent product quality, taste, and texture.

Quality Control:
Monitor product quality, including ingredient freshness and finished item appearance.

Cleaning & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organised and sanitary baking area in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Stock Rotation:
Manage ingredients and stock rotation

Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial baker or confectioner, preferably in a retail or patisserie environment.
-Strong knowledge of baking techniques, doughs, and oven management.
-High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (flour bags, trays).
-Flexible schedule, including weekends and early shifts.
-Competitive pay

Skills:

Salary Insight: TO BE DISCUSSED IN INTERVIEW...some junior positions, with higher market-related rates for experienced staff.
