Saturday night was a mother-daughter date with Shaz at Mamma Mia at Artscape. A beautiful evening, special memories and a little time away from the bakery. 🥹💚

We’re back 🤍

After a very emotional weekend, we decided to take a little time away from the business to slow down, celebrate and just be with family.

Monday was all about celebrating our Moenkar turning 50 🥹❤️

Our head baker, my husband, my business partner and the dad behind Melz Amazing Cakes. And if you’ve collected a cake from us, there’s a good chance you’ve met him too. 😄

We kept his 50th simple, intimate and surrounded by family — exactly how he wanted it.

Then Tuesday was for resting and recharging.

Now we’re back in the kitchen, and ready for what’s next. 🎂

Happy 50th again, Moenkar. ❤️

Our regular Sweetie Pie Sunday got a little extra this week — alongside our box of 6 Sweetie Pies, we made a mixed box with 3 Sweetie Pies + 3 homemade baked cheesecakes, with caramel and strawberry compote.

Just a small home bakery, doing what we love and sharing it with the people who continue to support us. 🥹
