These last couple of days I have spent time updating and sprucing up my website. I had to literally go through thousands of posts, to reorganise them.😅 It was such a wonderful trip down memory lane. Rediscovering some of the cakes that I have made but totally forgot about, was a blast! Realising just how many cakes I have made these last 18 years was truly a humbling experience. Behind each cake was a memory, a smile and a heart felt "thank you". Being part of a happy moment for someone is really something special. To me that is what it is all about. These days I only do a handful of children's cakes compared to what I used to. Moving on to making mostly just wedding cakes was for me, personally, the best thing to do for many, many reasons. But man, I miss those kid's smiling faces! Every once in a while, I still get to make one though and that feels even more special. So on Friday, Sonic came to visit my kitchen and I loved having him! 😀 ❤️
