Junior Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Junior Group Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop locations across Cape Town. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with a passion for coffee culture and a talent for team development. You will support the Senior Operations Manager in maintaining high service standards and driving profitability across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day operations at assigned outlets, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality coffee and food.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff and baristas to maintain top-tier service standards.
Financial Management: Handle daily cash-ups, monitor budgets, and implement cost-control measures to minimize waste.
Staff Scheduling: Manage rosters and shift allocations across multiple sites to ensure optimal staffing levels.
Customer Relations: Proactively resolve guest complaints and seek ways to enhance the overall customer experience.
Quality Control: Ensure all sites adhere to local health and safety regulations and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a coffee shop, restaurant, or fast-paced retail environment.
Education: Grade 12 or equivalent; a Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management is highly advantageous.
Skills: Strong understanding of barista standards and coffee preparation.
Attributes: Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Logistics: Own reliable transport is preferable
Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
