The benefit of undercharging your work when you’re still starting out is that you can get many customers quickly. BUT the disadvantage is that you can lose those customers just as quickly when you increase your prices, because they may continue expecting the same prices even 5 years later. 😩

Be smart about it. Start now with the right and profitable prices from the beginning. Don’t build a customer base around prices you won’t be able to maintain.

What they wanted vs. what they got 😂🙈

The client sent me an AI-generated cake as inspiration, and some of those details were literally just flying out of nowhere! 😂🙈 I did what I could to bring the vision to life, and of course, I asked the client to allow me not to cover the cake with fondant because I knew I could achieve a better finish with buttercream ganache

This is an 8-inch, 1-layer cake.

I grew up as the official tea maker for my grandparents, and now I’m already feeling sorry for my kids because the day they learn how to make tea, they will hate to see me coming! 😂😂
