Cake Away Caterers is a home based catering business, specialising in cakes. I officially started my business in 2008, even though I have been baking very long before that, and won a few cake competitions through the years. My passion is creating cakes with a theme, to bring your dreams to a tasty reality. My belief is that you eat with your eyes first, followed by a taste to impress. With this in

We started out as Cake Away Caterers and Events, a home based catering business, specializing in themed cakes. I officially started my business in 2008, even though I have been baking very long before that. My initial focus was creating cakes with a theme to bring your ideas to a tasty reality, because my belief has always been that you eat with your eyes first, followed by a taste to impress. Since then a lot has changed and evolved in my ever-growing passion for hospitality, food and nutrition, which lead to the re-branding on 1 January 2020, to open up our platform for a whole lot more than just cakes.
