It’s finally Flippin’ Friday! Welcome back to the best day of the week when I “flip” cookie cutters into something unexpected without changing the original shape.

This week, an idea from the comment section, a snow globe into a basketball hoop. A fitting flip since the NBA Finals are happening now.

I love hearing that so many of you watch these reels with your kiddos. It never ceases to amaze me the all the other design possibilities you share in the comments. These flips may just look like fancy cookies to some, but to me they are tiny lessons in creativity, keeping an open mind, problem solving, challenging assumptions, and appreciating different perspectives.

And if you are a cookie artist, I love sharing different ways to stretch design options with the cutters you already have on hand. Because cookie decorating can be expensive and our wallets could use a break!

Welcome to “Sorry I’m Late Saturday.” It’s the day when I post my Flippin’ Friday reel a day late. 🤦🏼‍♀️ If you are new here, on Fridays I “flip” cookie cutters into something unexpected without changing the original shape.

This week, two cutters, one flip 😬 A snow globe and diamond ring join forces to create a Ferris wheel just in time for summer fun. This is the first time the snow globe shape has entered the chat, so I’m open to seeing what other designs all of you have for that one.
