The good news, Her campfire creations are now available at the Houston Visitor Centre! She currently has cinnamon, lavender with magnesium, and citronella available. 🔥

She is so excited to see her products on store shelves for the very first time. Thank you for cheering on this little entrepreneur and supporting her big ideas! it truly means the world to her. 🤍

Did you know Little Acres started with just two items, sourdough loaves and New York bagels? 🤍

Over the years, sourdough has completely taken over my little bakery, and I absolutely love how much you guys love it!! But it’s time to re highlight the New York bagel, there is just something so comforting about it.

So next week, I’ll be trying something new with a no order, help yourself farm cabinet. I’ll be stocking it with fresh New York bagels (and maybe a loaf or two 😉). No need to pre-order, just drive up, help yourself, and grab your favourites while they last.

Stay tuned for the date and time 🤍

It has been so busy around here since returning from holidays that I haven’t even had a chance to sit down and make a formal post to say that Little Acres is officially open again. 🤍

With that, I’ve decided to make a few changes.

From now until the end of summer, as my kids and I focus on our next steps and prioritize our mental health, Little Acres will be moving from Monday - Saturday bake days to Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

What this means for me: more intentional time with my kids as we continue to navigate this emotional season.

What this doesn’t mean: less bread. There will still be the same amount of bread coming out of the bakery, just condensed into two busy bake days.

I know the flexibility in my schedule has been something many of you have loved and appreciated over the years, and this change is only temporary. Once school resumes, I fully intend to return to offering that flexibility again.

In the meantime, if you have a special event, family gathering, celebration, or need a special order outside of those Wednesday and Thursday bake days, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It is truly no trouble at all. My hope is simply to condense the majority of my regular orders into those two days so I can create a little more balance for our family during the summer months.

I’ve also decided to step back from out of town deliveries, this was an incredibly difficult decision to make and I want to sincerely thank everyone in surrounding communities who supported Little Acres in this way. The demand for those deliveries was incredible, and trying to coordinate them on top of an already full production schedule left me feeling like the customer service I pride myself on wasn’t where I wanted it to be. Little Acres started as a hobby rooted in a love of baking and sharing good food, and while it has grown beyond what I ever expected, the goal was never to be the biggest or to do it all. It has always been about creating quality products, building genuine connections, and making sure every customer feels valued. I want to preserve the passion behind what I do and continue offering the quality, care, and connection that Little Acres was built on.

Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding as we make these Temporary changes. It truly means the world to our family. Thank you all for allowing me to do something I love while supporting my family along the way. 🤍

I’m so excited to share that little acres will now be available through “feed the north” this beautiful company works so hard to bring farm fresh food to your tables all the way from Houston to hazelton.

My trial run of loaves will be classic sourdough frozen at the absolute peak of its flavor profile. Just like a good stew or a complex cheese, sourdough flavors continue to develop right up until the moment it's frozen. Freezing locks in those deeply developed, rich, tangy notes and concentrates the moisture. When you reheat it at home, the heat reactivates those aromatics, giving you an even richer flavor and a shatteringly crisp crust. 🤍🤍
