What a special cake and thoughtful gift for Emily’s fiancé Ethan on his 25th birthday!!!

The beautiful mountain photo was taken by him. I was able to use it and turn it into an endless landscape.

Emily also sent along pictures of her fiancé and their dogs for me to use as inspiration for sculpting the fondant toppers.

Please note, I’m still temporarily closed for new orders, but honoring all the orders I still have on my calendar.

Dear Friends of Boulder Hill Bakery,

An opportunity has presented itself to take on more hours at my place of employment outside of cakes, which I’ve agreed to do.

To achieve better work life balance, I have decided to temporarily suspend accepting orders.

No worries if you already have a date locked into my calendar, I will be honoring them, just not taking on any new ones from here forward.

I’ll be updating my website to disable the order capability, but checking my business email to insure I can refer you to the other amazing and wonderful bakers in the area.

If/when I return to my base line, I will open back up for business. I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you.

I’m back from a much needed, and perfectly time break/vacation. My beloved 10 year old Wire Fox Terrier Lexie passed right before Christmas, so it was nice to have the time away from work to spend with family.

I know she’s frolicking over the rainbow 🌈 bridge chasing lots of squirrels and chipmunks 🐿 💕
