💗policy update💗

Deposits
In order to place any order with Time For A Slice I do require a deposit. This is to secure your booking date and time and is non refundable. If for any circumstance it is me who has to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances you would receive the full deposit amount back in your account within 24 hours of me cancelling.

Dates
Once we have discussed and confirmed the date and time for your order this is what is put in my diary. If you do wish to change the date closer to the time there will be a £10 fee in order to do so. This fee is due to your order then taking up 2 spaces in my diary and potentially turning other customers away on your first date.

Travel
Please ensure you carry your cake by the base of the board and box trying not to push the sides. This can result in damaging the cake. Please always travel with the cake on the floor of the passenger driving side. This will stop it from sliding and also leaning due to the seat structure in a car. Once the cake has left my property I can no longer take any responsibility for any damages.

Storage
Once you arrive home/ to your venue please ensure the cake is somewhere cool ( all my cakes are made with buttercream and will simply melt if in the heat). I would have refrigerated it the night before so it isn’t essential it goes in the fridge. However if you’d like to put it in the fridge you can do so ensuring you take it out 1 hour before serving to allow it to come to room temperature.

Expectation
Please note I am a home run business and not a manufacture. If you have sent me a photo of a cake you like whether that’s off the internet or one of mine please be aware I will try my hardest to make it as similar as possible but it would never be identical.
