Hanoi is getting COLDER these days. Although winter may come late this year, it was announced that the cold weather would last for weeks. It is encouraged to enjoy this cool temperature and try some hot dishes, such as soup, pho, banh troi tau, or any kind of pots. [PLACE: VAN MIEU QUOC TU GIAM]

Situated at the south of Thang Long citadel, Temple of Literature is on top of the historical and beautiful sightseeings of the beautiful capital of Vietnam. A space of peace, green trees and solemnity covers the whole temple of historical and traditional love for study will make tourists feel like they were lost in a land of Confucion and traditional values.

Tourists should definitely pay a visit to the Temple of Literature. It is included in a lot of Hanoi city tours.

[HANOI'S FOOD]: Banh troi Tau - Food for cold weather
Banh troi Tau has become an indispensable part of Hanoi's winter cuisine. Hanoian eat Banh troi Tau till the end of the Cold Food Festival, during the chilly weather and during the days of spring rain drizzle.
When the northeast monsoon dragged on, holding a bowl of hot tea and drinking a little fragrant sugar water with the smell of ginger is an experience to try. The pungency of ginger mixed with sugar water and flavor match of roasted sesame seeds, toughness of the crust with sweet sticky rice and green bean's fat will make you warmer and definitely want to have another bowl of Banh troi Tau.
If you are in Hanoi, you should spend some time visiting roadside diner to enjoy the taste of Banh troi Tau. Hanoi will bring the warm to you and makes you feel like home.
