It is truly unforgettable to recall the day we welcomed an international delegation of painters with 44 members from 12 different countries. Each artist brought a unique color and spirit, and when they gathered at Art Hands, the artistic space seemed to shine with sophistication and cultural diversity. The conversations and the stories behind each artwork strengthened my belief that art is a universal language that connects people.
I firmly believe that Art Hands will continue to grow and flourish. The works created today will travel far and gain increasing value over time. I hope that when you return to Vietnam, this shared home will always remain open to welcome you with warmth, laughter, and sincere companionship. I wish you all a memorable journey across this S-shaped land, and I deeply appreciate the role of the founder, Mr. Hiep, and his colleagues — the quiet connectors who bring together creative souls from around the world.
To speak of art is also to speak of a cultural space rich in memory — the place where the painting collection of artist Phan Thi Ngoc My was officially recognized as the first private fine arts museum in 2006. After more than 40 years of dedicated collecting, it has become a meeting point for artworks from many generations of Vietnamese painters, representing diverse materials and artistic styles. The museum also preserves numerous calligraphic works and valuable artifacts, serving as silent witnesses to history.
With its guiding mission to safeguard values that might otherwise be forgotten, the museum has made meaningful contributions to the community and earned high recognition. Visitors come not only to appreciate art but also to experience the cultural flow of different eras. It is my hope that everyone who visits will find their own inspiration here — for sometimes, a single painting is enough to change the way we see the world.
