My best friend tied the knot this past Saturday, and I had the honor of making her a very special cake. The same flavors of my wedding cake that her and I made together over a decade ago! I've been waiting to make her her perfect cake for many years. And I'm so happy and excited for her! A delicious, very decadent, Chocolate sponge and from scratch raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. Also one tier of Vanilla Sponge, with the raspberry and buttercream as well. Handmade by me fondant flowers, everything airbrushed with a pearl sheen for that extra sparkle. I'm very happy about this cake and it's more than special ties to my heart!! ♥️

So happy to have made this cake! It was A Lot of fun and a great challenge. Fondant is always tricky, and pulling off the infamous Fender Strat at that? But I managed! Woohoo! A delicious, 5 Layered Black Midnight Cake, with a whipped Chocolate Buttercream frosting, with hand painted fondant flames, and a Rice krispie treat and fondant guitar! 😍

Beautiful Cake for My Grandpa Yesterday! A simple half Dark Chocolate half Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. I left the buttercream brushed on top to add texture then airbrushed it blue, pipe the tree trunk trunk and branches with a comb tip and hand cut and stamped all 51 leaves, one for every member of our big beautiful family! The Blue sugar flowers and all the leaves were also airbrushed in a light silver tint to tie with the silver flowers. I just wish my handwriting hadn't been so shaky! Haha oh well!! All for a wonderful man that I love dearly, Happy 81st Birthday Grandpa! ❤

Made a special Smash Cake for a special 1st Birthday Girl today! A Vanilla Cream Confetti Cake with Vanilla Buttercream and Cherry flavored Fondant circles! Mmmm! All from scratch, including the hand rolled fondant! 😍

A Special Update from Meg! I know I haven't been posting too much this summer! I decided to take a break this summer from the business; I have had a couple small orders, and I do have a wedding cake coming up in a few weeks, (which I'll post! It's going to be beautiful!); we finished remodeling my kitchen about two months ago, and I'm Pregnant this summer, so it's been nice taking a little break from baking!! I do intend on starting back up full steam ahead in the spring! Please don't hesitate to place orders, I'm ALWAYS taking orders!!

Beautiful! Classic German Chocolate cake for a Surprise 60th Birthday/Christmas Party! His favorite cake, made from scratch! Possibly the tastiest frosting in my recipe box. Takes a while to make, but there is nothing like slowly Caramelized Pecans and Coconut drizzled over a Fluffy Chocolate Cake!
