For all the new faces around here, hi!! I’m Kyra (pronounced key-ra).
I’m the one planning your session with you, helping with outfits, making your kids laugh, letting them be a little wild, and turning all of that personality into photos that actually feel like them.
I’m a wife, mom to two little girls, and a family + newborn photographer serving Holly Springs, Cary, Apex, Raleigh, and the surrounding areas. I love photos that feel natural, playful, and actually like your family.
A few random things about me:
1. Before photography, I owned a macaron business, and I still love bringing that little piece of it into my work now. My in-home newborn clients get a box of fresh macarons made just for them after their session.
2. I love photographing fall. Give me cooler temps, pretty tones, and kids who can run around without everyone melting, and I’m happy.
3. I’m a planner through and through, which means I’m usually thinking about all the little details before you ever have to.
4. I’m definitely a sweets person, especially anything chocolate.
5. I love kids with big personalities, and some of my favorite photos come from the moments that feel a little wild and completely unscripted.
6. I will probably remember the tiny random thing your child told me at your session long after the session is over.
7. One of my favorite parts of this job is finishing a gallery and knowing a family is about to see those moments for the first time.
