Consider this your reminder to plan a family date night this summer.

Bring the kids, let them run, explore a new spot, cuddle your babies, play games, tell silly jokes, and simply enjoy being together. My sessions are intentionally relaxed and child-led, so there’s no pressure for anyone to sit still or smile at the camera the entire time.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating space to slow down, have fun together, and make memories while someone else documents it all.

I’ll take care of the photos. You just focus on your family.

A little reintroduction because there are quite a few new faces here lately 🤍

I’m Kyra (key-ra)!

I’m a mom to two toddler girls, a former macaron baker turned photographer, and someone who wholeheartedly believes photos should feel like memories, not just poses. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on the real connection between your family.

You’ll usually find me chasing good lighting, embracing the chaos that comes with little ones, and documenting your family in a way that feels natural, connected, and true to this season of life 🤍

My sessions are rarely super posed or perfectly still. We’re usually running around, playing games, cuddling babies, chasing toddlers, and just letting everyone settle into the moment together. I truly want your session to feel fun and easy, not stressful.

I’m so grateful to get to document so many growing families around the Triangle, and it truly means the world to have you here following along.

These photos with my girls mean more to me than I can put into words.

Not because everything was perfect, but because they freeze a season of life I already know is going by too fast.

The little hugs around my neck.
The way they reach for my hand.
The giggles and chaos and love that fill our everyday life right now.

One day these photos will remind them what it felt like to be little and deeply loved. And they’ll remind me that even in the busiest seasons of motherhood, these were the moments I never wanted to forget 🤍

So thankful to my husband for stepping behind the camera and capturing these for us.

Gallery delivery day for this sweet couple 🤍 We spent the evening wandering through Duke Gardens, soaking in all the quiet little moments before their baby arrives. Their full session felt so easy and natural, like spending time with old friends while documenting this season for them. And getting to meet their sweet pup at the end was the perfect finish to such a beautiful session 🥹
