I've had a few issues this week. My pizzelle irons started to stick and no matter what I did, they just want to stick. The company won't replace them under warranty even though they're only 6 month old. They claim if I'm running a business, they don't qualify, even though I bought them just for fun initially. Shall I keep trying or give to Goodwill?
And then I ordered my sugar (substitute) finally! It's been out of stock for a month now. It should have been here Wednesday, in time for the week's baking. Well, it arrived in Cincinnati, then Dayton, then back to Cincinnati, on to two more stops in Indiana and finally back to Cincinnati and here. They said my address was wrong - it wasn't. By the time it came, the box and been poked, squashed and busted open so that half the sugar was in the box or in some truck somewhere, and the other half usable. And will the post office make good on the whole amount? No! But the company I bought from has kindly offered to send me the amount that was lost, at no charge! Yay for them. A win!
So, I'm down to one pizzelle maker but I managed and will so until I can get some new ones.

I fully expect for it to storm tomorrow morning, so I didn't make as many as I usually do to take to market.
