Yes! 😂... I believe I found the origin of decorated sugar cookies while watching Little House on the Prairie. 😂

Independence, Kansas — 1869… lol! (11 miles from my hometown)

Okay, not quite! 😂🍪

Apparently, these cookies were made specifically for filming and needed to be sturdy enough to survive heat, handling, and multiple takes. 🎬

So they may look like they came straight out of 1869, but they were actually made to withstand the demands of a movie set!

As someone who makes decorated cookies, I just had to stop and appreciate this. 😂

Because apparently, even Hollywood knows… you need a sturdy cookie! 🍪🤣
