Post Office Cafe (VT) Post Office Cafe is located in the heart of Worcester Village, Vermont, on Route 12. Coffee, Tea, Espresso and First Class Fare.

Our mission is to be the community space that offers reasonably priced, homemade, and local-as-much-as-possible foods to our neighbors and passers-by. We bake everything here, and we serve brewed coffee and espresso with organic and fair trade coffee that is roasted by our friends at 802 Coffee, just 8 miles away. We also offer a selection of fair trade teas from VT Artisan Tea.

To our wonderful Worcester community and beyond,

After a successful 10 years, the Post Office Café has sold our space to Worcester's Good Heart Farmstead.

When we hired Katie Spring of GHF to talk about how she could help us communicate our wish to sell, she and her husband Edge replied, “How about sell it to us?” And that’s how it happened!

GHF will be opening a retail store in the former café space, offering fresh local food products, including vegetables, dairy, eggs, meat, and more, along with café offerings. The new Good Heart Farm Store will open in June!

As for the Café, our last day of business will be Friday April 22nd. Because of this, we will no longer be selling gift certificates. Katie and Edge have generously offered to honor whatever gift cards remain out there.

We’ve had a BLAST running the café: It’s the best job we’ve ever had! Truly. We will so miss seeing your faces across the counter, but we know we’ll see you around.

Leslie has been identified as a close contact to three people.

Because of this, we will CLOSE THE CAFE for the week (3/21 - 3/25), and will re-open Monday March 28th.

Beginning Monday, March 7, we will welcome INDOOR DINING again! As a reminder, masks are still required, unless you are seated at your table.

Hello neighbors. Due to current Covid circumstances, we have decided to make the following temporary changes:

1. TAKE-OUT only…There will be no tables / chairs.

2. We will be open MONDAYS - FRIDAYS, 7:30 am to 11:30 am (no Saturday hours; Mondays instead).



MASKS remain a requirement and must be worn at all times.

These changes will remain in effect until the café closes for the February break (Mon. Feb. 21 - Tues. March 1; reopening Wed. March 2).

We will continue with all our regular morning offerings (Coffee, Baked Goods, Breakfast Sandwiches), as well as our GRAB N GO MEALS.
