As the Wayne County Fair nears, I want to invite you to grab a fair themed pie this weekend while you’re preparing your projects!
Many people ask me where my interest in pies came from. At 9 years old, I started entering the Wayne County Fair baking contest. My grandma and I would practice recipes over the summer to enter into the fair. Pies from family recipes proved to be the most successful, and it all spiraled from there!
