🍋🫐 Blueberry Lemon Bread Season! 🫐🍋

Ive received quite a few messages regarding orders for my blueberry lemon bread, that I figured since I’m no longer local, I’d stop gatekeeping my recipe so you can make it yourself!

1 1/2 cups flour
1tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1tsp Vanilla
2tsp Fresh grated lemon zest
2tbsp Fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries (shake in flour so they don’t sink)

If you want the lemon glaze -
2tbsp butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2tbsp fresh lemon juice
1tsp vanilla

*TIP: Do NOT over mix or it’ll become super dense*

Preheat 350
Bake 60-65min.
Cover the last 10min to keep it from browning

Worked my normal 4am-12:30pm shift at the hospital, come home and get straight to work! 7 hours later and I’m finally done!

Baking cakes, decorating cakes and being sure your client loves the final result is not for the weak. It takes patience, focus and dedication.

And working full-time while getting back in the swing of cakes is exhausting!

I honestly miss baking every day, I miss seeing the smiles on all my customers faces. I miss doing what I absolutely loved. It was never work, it was always fun. Someday, I’ll be back in the baking business, for now.. Ima splurge and continue eating it all myself.
