A Birthday Adventure today with one of my besties! We started our day by visiting a 326 year old tree in Carroll County! We visited some Amish friends (Mary, Rebekah and Melinda) and bought their yummy pickles, jam and baked goods. Then we had lunch at The John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville, PA. We finished up by visiting 2 antique shops in Columbia PA( The Rivertown Antique shop and Bootleg Antiques). Such a wonderful day!

Dear friends,
It's with a sad heart that I have to tell you that I am currently unable to bake for the Mt. Airy Farmer's Market due to symptoms from a debilitating condition. I'm currently working with my doctors to alleviate the symptoms and hope to be baking again soon. I will keep you posted. Thank you for your support.

Merry Christmas for my dad. These are filled raisin cookies. The recipe was handed down to me from my Aunt Libby. Many long time Mt Airy residents may remember her as Elizabeth (Libby) Harrison.
These cookies are a labor of love because of the time required to make them. I know dad will enjoy them.😊

Good morning! The Mount Airy Farmer's Market has opened for the season. It runs 3 to 7 every Wednesday from now until the end of September. So good to see old friends and new faces this week!
