❤️ Just a heads up! No stand tomorrow 10/23!

🍁 I’m having an end-of-summer gathering with family and friends Saturday so I decided it was a good week to bring out my fall decorations!

🪵 I also started the first fire of the season this morning so I could burn off all the dust on the wood stove! It’s been a nice day catching up on things around the house, but I can’t wait for the next stand day! 😇

🙏🏼 You guys never cease to amaze me! For a rainy day, I’d say we did amazing! I can’t begin to tell you all how thankful I am for you! I’m feeling beyond blessed! When you really feel the support, and see people piling up on the road to get to their favorite goodies, it’s an amount of gratitude I can’t begin to explain! 🥹

🎟️ Bakery stand is officially OPEN until dark!

🗺️ Located on Westview Rd. In Wiscasset
3.5 miles north on 27 from route 1!
On the left at the top of the hill after Steele’s firewood when you’re headed north! There’s a place for parking and enough room to turn around!

🙏🏼 Please drive slowly and respectfully for my neighbors, their children and our pets! I appreciate it and I know they do too!

🍰 MINI CAKES for tomorrow’s stand! 8 flavors and TONS of them!

☔️ Somehow I didn’t realize it was going to rain tomorrow… Guess we will have our first rainy day stand! The cakes will be safe in the cooler and the other items will be just fine too! (If they last long enough! 😍)

🤤 This might not look 👀 delicious… but let me tell you… It is AH-MAZING!!!

🍫 I’m a little behind on this Dubai chocolate trend… I’ve had the ingredients to do it for a while now, I decided to make some filling (toasted kataifi, tahini and pistachio butter)… I could eat the whole bowl! 🫣 it is crunchy, sweet and nutty all in one bite!

🎂 I hope you’re ready for a chocolate Dubai mini cake because it is happening for sure! I’m thinking chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting, kataifi filling, strawberries and chocolate or pistachio butter drizzle…

🙏🏼 Sometimes I just need to take a moment and say thank you.

❤️ Lately, I’ve received some messages from customers that have truly touched my heart and reminded me exactly why I started this little baking journey.

To the customers who reach out asking for a certain baked good because it brings them comfort during a difficult time, reminds them of someone special, or simply brings back a happy memory — thank you for allowing me to be a small part of that.

To those who message me with ideas, special requests, or something new they’d love for me to try — thank you for trusting me, challenging me, and giving me opportunities to grow and try new things.

To those who get so excited about having their favorite goodies shipped to them, sometimes from miles away — your excitement makes me just as excited!

And to every single person who takes the time to send a sweet message, leave a kind comment, share a recommendation, or simply tell me how much they enjoyed something I made — please know those words mean more to me than you probably realize.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the busy days, late nights, and never-ending to-do lists. But then a message comes through that reminds me why I do all of this.

Because food is so much more than just food. Sometimes it’s comfort during a hard season, a reminder of home, a cherished memory, a reason to celebrate, or simply a little happiness in someone’s day.

And knowing that something I’ve made with my own two hands can bring even a small amount of that to someone is one of the greatest blessings of this little business.

I pour so much love into what I do, and hearing that you can feel that love in return makes every bit of the hard work worth it.

Thank you for supporting Flour Child, for letting me be creative, for trusting me with your special moments, and most importantly, for reminding me that even the smallest things can make a difference in someone’s life.

If I can bring a little happiness, comfort, or love into someone’s day through something I’ve baked, then I’m doing exactly what I hoped to do when I started. 🥹
