If you haven’t checked out this year’s Fall window display yet, you won’t want to miss it! 🍂✨
The theme for this year’s Covered Bridge Festival was “Bridging Generations,” and I wanted to bring that concept straight into our window. We tied the theme together by honoring generational bakers and highlighting the different aprons our ancestors wore throughout the decades.
On display, you’ll see everything from a bib cross-back and a humble flour sack apron to fun retro styles and the classic server waist apron!
I’m so excited to share these pieces alongside ancestral photos of my great-grandparents, my mother, and other beloved family members. The window is truly filled with memories of sharing the kitchen with joy, love, and tradition.
They say the kitchen is the heart of the home—and for us, baking is how we pass that heart down from generation to generation. ❤️
Stop by the square, take a look, and don’t forget to grab a donut before you leave! We will have our apple crisp donuts and maple bacon longjohns this Friday. 🍩😋

What an incredible weekend! We enjoyed seeing our regulars, catching up with old friends, and meeting so many new faces.

Thank you again for another successful festival! We are so grateful for our amazing community and visitors. We hope to see you at the next one—if not before!

Tomorrow is the big day—the Covered Bridge Festival is finally here! 🍂🎉

We will be open tomorrow, Saturday, and ready to fuel your festival fun! Please note: even though the festival officially kicks off at 9:00 AM, we will be opening early at our regular time of 5:30 AM! ☕🍩

Our bakers have been hard at work baking up all your scratch-made favorites! Here’s what’s waiting for you:

🍰 From-Scratch Cake Slices: Chocolate, German Chocolate, Red Velvet (with traditional frosting!), and Carrot Cake
🍞 Fresh-Baked Breads: White, Wheat, Raisin, Cinnamon Swirl, English Muffin, and Vegetable Bread

We had our annual Bakery Bonfire last weekend, and my heart (and stomach) is still full! 🔥

Our amazing team works tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you fresh treats and great service everyday, so they more than deserved a little R&R outside the bakery. What better way to unwind than gathering around a warm October fire, eating incredible food, and laughing over games together?

One evening is truly never enough with this crew, but thankfully we get to see each other’s smiling faces back at the bakery bright and early.
