I tore into this little apricot pie with the ferocity of a dog stealing a steak around midnight during the market bake.

It was blessedly good. Tart, bright, not too sweet, pastry on point.

I felt very lucky to enjoy those first of the season apricots from .

Y'all will be very lucky to get to enjoy them too. I also have cherry and apple pies, and of course chocolate chip cookies.

First come first served at the market this morning. We open at 9 in downtown Winters. See y'all soon!

Tootsie will also be donating a portion of all pie sales from now until July 3rd to the fireworks fund.

All proceeds benefit the City of Winters 3rd of July fireworks show and celebration.
