Hey everyone! If you don’t see me posting much on Facebook it’s not because I’m not baking. I just really prefer not to be on social media - and I prefer not forcing you all to do the same in order to buy bread and stay in the loop!

My primary mode of communication is through text messages. This is where I alert you all of pre-orders opening, schedule changes, remind you that I’m taking a week off, send weather alerts, etc.

WE’RE BACK! 👏🏼

Thank you all for giving me the gift of time this summer; the break from baking gave me the freedom to enjoy my kiddos being home for summer. And it was so sweet!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop on to give a quick summer update! ☀️☁️🌊

I LOVE summers with my kids home. We’ve been enjoying this slower pace together - and with that slower pace, I’ve taken a break from having weekly bakes (which is why you havent gotten any text alerts from me for the past few weeks).

I thought maybe I could find a couple weeks out of the month where I could fit in some baking; but honestly, summers arent that long, and I’d rather not rush this time with them. I’ver decided to leave my summers open and reserved for family time and impromptu adventures.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your patience and support while I balance this super fun baking journey but also this sweet season of life with little ones at home. 💛

I plan on getting back to our regular baking schedule once school starts back up late August. 🏫📚✏️ I’m truly so excited to be back to baking regularly for you all!

Two announcements ‼️

1.) the new menu item is… focaccia! I have spent the past few weeks getting the recipe right; and now, I’m so excited to be adding this to the menu rotation.

2.) with summer approacting, I won’t be baking weekly. I love summers with my kids home and will be soaking up lots of time with them. Expect bakes 1-2 times a month. 💛☀️

Fun fact about our family: we love to garden! 🌱 ☀️🪴

This also means that if you ever order a Garlic Rosemary loaf from us, the rosemary came directly from our backyard garden! 🌿

It’s a slow grower but very hardy, drought resistant, and low-maintenance to grow in FL (loves full sun). 🕶️

Whew! Long update:

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve baked! It’s been a whirlwind over here to say the least. My scheduled surgery went as planned but I ended up having a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic which landed me in the hospital for a few days. I’m feeling so much better and the nightmare of February is all behind us now. Thank you, Lord!

I’m relieved to be healthy and back home with my precious little ones who are equally as happy to have mommy back.

Carter (my husband) has been juggling caring for all of us (non-stop) so well while I’ve been recovering - along with so many friends and family members. I’m truly so, so thankful; for the gift of restored health and also the support of so many loved ones who made recovery half as hard.

Okay… now for the more fun updates!

* I’m switching to Tuesday pickups so 3/11 is our next pickup date.

Pic is of my sweet husband who tirelessly took extensive notes any time a doctor came in to talk to us and who happily slept in a hospital chair all week so I wouldnt be alone (except to run out and get me a yummy meal that didn’t come from inside the hospital).

Hey everybody! I haven’t forgotten you 🫶🏻 this has been a long, long month of recovering from surgery followed by a house full of sickness. We are so ready for a break over here. But until that healthy break comes, I won’t be baking. For your sake and ours. 🤍

I wanted my next pickup to be Feb 24 but it’s looking like it’ll be into March.

Important note: Monday January 27th will be my last bake until February 24th. 🗓️

I need about 4 weeks off while I recover from a very minor surgery to repair a ruptured eardrum that never healed how it should have. It should be straight forward, but I have to be very careful to avoid any sort of heavy lifting while everything heals.

If all goes well I should be back to business February 24th. If you could, please pray that everything does go well. I’m excited to have my partial hearing fully restored after 11 months of waiting! Thanks for your understanding.
