Chimney Cakes, known as Trdelník, are a traditional Central European pastry with roots in the Czech and Slovak regions. Traditionally, a strip of sweet dough is wrapped around a wooden rod or spit, creating the cake’s signature spiral shape. The dough is then roasted over an open flame while the rod is turned, allowing it to bake evenly. As it cooks, the outside becomes golden and caramelized, while the inside stays soft and tender. Traditionally finished with sugar and nuts, Chimney Cakes have become a beloved European street-food treat. We are honored to take this historical treat to a different level here in Grand County!

This is Nathans last week before going back to college on the east coast. Come say goodbye and wish him well!
Its been such a fun busy summer over here at Rolin' and knowing i can rely on the great staff like Nathan to give great quality service and share his expertise with newer staff has been such a blessing. He always brings a smile, positive attitude, creativity and good energy to our Rollin' family. We hired Nathan the August and begining of our 2nd year owning the bakery. He has been nothing short of a delight. I was so honored that he wanted to come back this summer.
