You all have blown me away with the kind and encouraging words you have shared with me. The best part of owning my cookie business has been the friends I have made along the way. This decision did not come easily and is something my husband, my mama and I have prayed over for the last year. Thank you will never be enough.
I want to share one story and ask my cookie friends to go over and support A Sugar Cookie Affair. When I was living in Orlando a sweet new friend named Naureen came to one of my cookie decorating classes. She was thinking of starting her own business and I was so excited for her and proud of her. I am never in competition when it comes to other small businesses in fact I truly encourage it. I believe we all should have a place to share our talents and skills with others. When I made my announcement the other day Naureen was one of the first to respond and thank me for inspiring her to start her own cookie business. I browsed her page the other day and I am so impressed by her success. If you need a new cookie lady I highly recommend her.
Here is a photo that we took the night of the class and a little bit of what she shared with me:
"...The night you told me I had what it takes to do this! I will never forget it. Then you graciously answered all my questions . 🥰" Thanks Naureen for taking the time to reach out....I wish you all the best!
And thanks again to all of you! The last couple of days I have been blessed with so many orders to finish off the year with and it is a true blessing! ❤️

Good morning! It is with a heavy yet grateful heart that I announce that we will be closing Cookie Cutter Creations at the end of this year. I can't seem to find the right words to say but please know that I truly appreciate every like, comment, share, compliment, prayer,
order and connection that I have made thru my business. I remember over 16 years ago praying that God would lead me to a business I could call my own and how He so clearly answered me. It hasn't always been easy but it has always brought me joy.
For those of you who have been with me on this journey from the beginning...THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting my small business and my family for so many years especially the hardest year of our lives when our son got sick and again when the world shut down a few years later. Your orders and support are what kept our family afloat when we needed it the very most. Thank you for rallying around us and showing us what true community looks like. And for everyone else...THANK YOU! Thank you for being here...for spreading the word about us and for trusting us with your custom cookie orders. Thank you for showing up to cookie decorating classes, pop up events and our cookie stands at shops and holiday markets.

So with all of this said I would LOVE nothing more for these last 3 months to be filled with all the cookie love I can dish out. If you have always wanted to place an order with us now is your chance...I would love to meet you. If you've been a long time customer and want to get another order in I would be thrilled to create them and get to see you again. If you've been thinking of hosting a cookie decorating class the holidays are the perfect time...I promise it will be lots of fun and maybe you will enjoy it so much you will want to take over my business...ha ha! If you just want some last minute cookies to enjoy or give as gifts we will have opportunities for that too. And lastly if you have a gift certificate with us please plan to use that by 12/31/26.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
-Please place all orders and book all classes as soon as possible as we do book up quickly during the holiday months.
-We will be closed the week of Thanksgiving (11/21-11/29).
-I am still making banners and other krafty creations...you can follow me on Kim's Krafty Creations
-We will be participating in at least one holiday market in Winter Haven in December (more info on that to come).
-We have a lot of inventory that we need to sell so we will try and have pop up sales and some fun giveaways!
-Please bear with us as we navigate this transition the best we can.

Sweet Blessings and Thank You from the bottom of my heart 💚
Kim
