My daughter and I started our bakery business in 2017 with $3000 and the Kitchen Aid mixer my mother gave me for my 30th birthday. Renting a small kitchen outside our city, we started baking for our local farmer’s market every Saturday. It wasn’t long before our cinnamon rolls, made from a recipe of our Amish and Mennonite heritage, became our signature product.

Three and a half years and over 500 popups later, we opened our storefront in the historic West End of Winston-Salem. Now, our business has grown to include a savory breakfast and lunch program which we added last year in addition to a market and gift shop in our lower level.

Our Amish Cinnamon Rolls remain our signature product, but we are also known for our scratch-made pies, three-layer cakes, cookies, brown butter marshmallow treats and granola. And we think our coffee and tea service is exceptional, as well.

We hope you come to see us! We are open from 7-5, Monday through Saturday and our team is always happy to serve you.

Cooking over fire has been a dream of mine since I met S A R A H G L O V E R on Instagram in 2015. This week we met for the first time in person on a beautiful ranch in the Grand Tetons. It’s been an absolute joy to learn from her and cook together in this beautiful outdoor setting.

Yesterday we made huckleberry jam, and while it bubbled in a pot over the fire we whipped up a huckleberry cobbler. Baking a dessert over fire was new territory for me! But the end result was a fluffy melt-in-your-mouth cobbler bursting with berries and a hint of smokiness. We topped it with freshly whipped cream and ate it fireside.

Later, we ended the evening with line dancing on the deck overlooking the mountains. What a magical day!

Biting into a fresh donut takes me right back to my childhood in Aunt Elizabeth’s farmhouse kitchen. She would stand by a kettle of sizzling fat on her wood-fired stove where she dropped in circles of tender dough. I would watch with anticipation as she turned them with a fork, then place them on the counter where they cooled for a minute before being dipped in a vanilla glaze. Eagerly, I would take my first bite.

Our donuts are made from the same recipe Aunt Elizabeth used. We make them from scratch every Tuesday morning, and they are a highlight of the week.

Our cinnamon rolls are made from a family recipe of our Amish and Mennonite heritage. Rolled by hand each morning in small batches, baked to perfection and then covered in our boiled brown sugar frosting, they are irresistible. We hope you enjoy one today!

Wyoming, you have captured my heart and made all my Wild West dreams come true.
👢
My husband and I celebrated 38 years of marriage earlier this year and decided we would make a road trip to the West in honor of that. We started in Tennessee where we visited our daughter and family who recently moved there, then headed west yesterday through Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. This morning we finished the drive through Nebraska and are now in Wyoming where we will be for the next week.
🐴
The drive today through the bluffs of Nebraska and the High Plains of Wyoming has been stunning. We kept looking at each other and saying how grateful we are to do this trip together.
🥾
A huge thanks to our team back at the bakery who are taking care of things with such excellence while I am away.

If you live in the South you know that Key Lime Pie is as deeply rooted in tradition as fried chicken and biscuits. Ours is made with lots of fresh farm eggs and the juice of Florida Key Limes, baked in a graham cracker crust and topped with a swoop of freshly whipped cream. It’s incredibly luxurious and a long standing favorite with customers.
